ROBERT BUNSEN

Robert Bunsen (30 March 1811-16 August 1899) was a great german chemist. 
 
INVENTION -He investigated emission spectra of heated elements and also discovered elements like caesium and rubidium with his physicist friend Gustav Kirchoff.
The Bunsen - Kirchoff award for spectroscopy named after Bunsen and Kirchoff.

Awards - CAPLEY MEDAL (1860) 
                 DAVY MEDAL     (1877) 
                 ALBERT MEDAL (1898)

     As an investigator he was great , as a           teacher he was greater , as a man and 
                friend he was greatest.
